Hi, im Malibu Q from Tasmania, Australia. I've had my 1991 Mazda Mx-5 Malibu Gold Limited Edition for about ten years.
Only 55 Malibu were sold and were the only sunburst yellow NAs available in Australia.
Mine is mildly customised.

I've just followed Martin's link and have been over to KJman55's intro (yummy Malibu) and noticed that he claims 60 Malibu Golds wore sold. My information is that there was 55. There is a page on the Australian site, mx5cartalk, which covers the Australian released Limited Edition MX-5s.

Also years ago I saved the Mazda Australia page which documents the NA models in Au below.
Why am I making a deal about this? Well I think 55 was a very special number for Mazda in 1991.
and for those that are interested I posted a couple more pix of my car in the yellow thread.

lovely car not quite sold on the wheels tho but that's personal taste
I hear you. These wheels are really heavy! They're Mooneyes LuckyStar 15x7 +22. The car crashes badly over bumps with these wheels. I'm only running them for a short time until I tire of them, but at the moment I'm enjoying the retro vibe. Below is a pic of my old wheels, I'll have some new proper ones installed shortly.
oh my volks... well those have my vote
Large box turned up at work today.
Q was very excited and all the roadsters came out to look.
Three pieces inside and straight away you can see that i was a bit early for the GV Nostalgic Tails group buy.
Next is an Alterna trunk lid. It is quite concave.
I didnt take any more photos of it because i was so excited by...
