Clutch engagement is high on the clutch pedal?

The clutch pedal engagement is high. My other cars, when the clutch engages, the clutch pedal does not have to go up as high to engage Is this a sign of the clutch slipping? I just purchased the car last week.

How does the pedal feel? Is it firm and pop back up quickly when you release it?

It sounds like the clutch, but I'd check out the clutch slave cylinder.
I replaced my clutch a little bit after I bought the car. The previous owner was a little rough on it, but 22 years isn't bad out of a clutch. Shortly after replacing my clutch, my clutch peddle felt really weird. My slave cylinder went shortly after the new clutch.

Clutch pedal and the return seems normal.

Adjust the clutch pedal with the 2 nuts/threaded rod at the top of the pedal under the dash
