don't need it
Started on this as soon as I got home today from work...
The only problem, three of the four white LED's for the gauges are totally dead. Flipping polarity, swapping location, nothing works except for one of them in any of those four locations. So much for having this little project done before the weekend. Totally sucks.

was gonna start on the differential swap, until i noticed that the rubber axle/cv boot was torn... FUUUUUUUGGGG. i installed my Trackdog Racing header heat shield blanket though.. and.. removed my gauge cluster. the two side clips on the gauge hood broke though... FUUUUGGGG. so depressing.

Fidgeted around with the LED's some more today. After using a very small screwdriver and doing some scraping and adjusting on the socket contacts, I got all of the LED's working, and man are they bright! Also readjusted the oil pressure needle as I had it set way too high (when cold, the needle would be pegged out).
When I got that all squared away, I took a look at the interior light next to the glove box which has been out for the past year or more. Turns out the contacts were disgusting and the (+) solder joint just fell off the terminal when I removed the unit. A really good scrape down with a knife on the contacts and resoldering the hot wire did the trick.

These are vents from a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse . I had to remove some material on the outer lip of the vents. then cut them to match length then put a grove in them to lock in position. I saw a writeup on how to do it on the internet and was pretty easy and 100 times better than the eyeball vents.
Installed the Trap tombstone, Autometer clock, DIY window and haz/pop-up switches.
the HVAC gear is from RS products and the vent rings are RS factory stage.
