Anybody ever heard of swapping the 224 cube Mercruiser into a Miata? With an aluminum head it weighs far less than a V/8 and can make 300 horsepower on regular gas.

Nope, I've never heard of anyone putting a boat motor in a Miata

Haven't done it yet as car runs great but a friend of mine is doing the LS swap as a lot of guys are and I felt this would be something different. Engine has a Chevy bell housing and flywheel and is half of a 460 Ford or close.
