Stock gauge clusters... how many different types?

I have a question about stock gauge clusters. I broke mine, and got one off eBay with the same year/transmission type/miles (roughly), but when I turned it over, the backs were different, the part number on the top was the same, but the lights, and flexible circuit board/sheet was different too. Does anyone know if there are different gauge clusters, within the same year, like if there was different manufactures, and do they all work the same?

Adam may know.............................but I have swapped out clusters and they work, I like the true oil pressure gauge on the 90-94, instead of the on-off type on the 95-97 models.
