    Id make a Corflute corrugated plastic one first, then have a metalworker roll one up. You'll require some folded metal to make the end brackets too. These things normally fit into the rain rails on vintage cars, with the chrome end wrapping into the door jamb to affix it.. The Mx-5's don't have a rain rail, maybe you can cut away some of the windscreen edge rubber and stick the end in there. Good luck. Hope you're putting matching ones on the headlights. Love the way you're building your Pit Crew, particularly the autumn palette.

    neat, yeah I have visors on my lights those were easy to find

    I was thinking of either finding something Miata-sized or cutting/sectioning an existing one to the appropriate length...

    I could always try to make a prototype from styrofoam and overlay it with fiberglass...

    Should I have said 'fall colorway' instead of 'autumn palette' in American English?

    I don't know if visors are popular on late model cars in America, in Australia you rarely see them on cars from the mid eighties on. It may be difficult finding a used visor that fits the style of A-Pillar that the Miata has.

    You could make the visor out of foam and glass and make it a much more interesting shape than you could from metal. If that's a skill you're good at, go for it.

    If you haven't got access to corflute, use cardboard for the initial mock ups.

    However you make the visor, make the end clamps from polished alloy. I'd make them first.

    that would be a tough find as the miata windshield is very small, pretty sure you will have to fab this up.

    I think the AutoBlaze windshield header thingy would good on a pitcrew miata, and some of the old pitcrew single wipers (the silver ones) if you are looking for some retro vintage stuff for the exterior.

    @malibu, autumn palette is what i would say... i think most americans would say fall color scheme or fall-themed. i tend to say things like a canadian.... idk why -

    @phat, idk what the autoblaze windshield visor looks like, unless it's like, the chrome a-pillar trim? i think the g-wing is held on by two-sided tape and would come flying off unless i made up some spiffy brackets...

    @hellionmx5, yes.

    i need to find some time to get working on this project pretty soon.....

    yes drag but I don't own a racecar... and visors don't typically rip off idk why mine will

    you can't photoshop what people see when they walk by your car or see it cruising around

    Does anybody have a picture or explanation of this? I have no idea what it is.

    Edit: It's a windscreen frame chromed cover.
