2000 SE "Apollo I" build thread.

A little history before I start. I was/am a BMW enthusiast and my dream car was the old e24 6 series. So for my first car I bought an 85 635csi and drove it and modded it for a few years until it started giving me starting problems. I couldn't keep up with the amount of work and money it needed so i decided to part it out.

So after starting to part it out I came across a good deal on a 2000 miata for 4k, so i jumped on it.

After buying it I immediately ordered springs. I have always used H&R Springs so that's obviously what springs I bought. As an 18 year old making barely over minimum wage as a cook for a small mom and pop restaurant so I don't have a lot of money to spend on parts. About a month after getting my springs I bought a set of 15x7 bronze 6ULs and it took them about two months to get here because they didn't ship until August. When they finally got here I went the next day to get them mounted and balanced on a set of 195/50 Dunlop Direzza dz101s. That's as far as I've gotten now. I hope to soon get either an Ark racing exhaust or a cold air intake

I forgot. The reason its called Apollo I is because all of my BMWs were going to be Sputniks. So I cant name a Miata sputnik so i named it after another rocket, Apollo!

Ordered an Enthuza XR lightweight and It came yesterday and I installed it. It sounds amazing. If you haven't already dona an exhaust or want a different exhaust I highly recommend Enthuza.
