Well my car is gone right now, but on Sunday it is getting cleaned completely on the inside. Then I'll dye it sometime next week.

Wow. Any word on longevity or dripping staining from the carpet after spraying?
I've been debating dying the carpets with Rit dye, but would hate to have black stained shoes.
Another Rustoleum testimony here: It never stains or comes off on clothes.
I bought a can of duplicolor and will be using it sunday or monday.

A new/used/clean carpet is pretty easy to get off ebay for cheep. If you dye your seats, wash them first. I removed mine, washed them good with carpet cleaner, let them dry in the sun for a day, then taped the sliders and leather/vinyl off. I used one can of Dupli-color's Vinyl & Fabric spray, and they bounced back to a nice rich black. A little stiff at first, once they dried, but became more supple as time went on. After 4 years, the color is still holding up.

Anyone refinish tan leather into black? Probably no $5 rattlecan solution.
