Posting Quick Replies

I've noticed a few times when I've tried to post a quick reply it will bring up the "leave page, stay on page" box and not post what I've just typed.
I'll have to copy my reply and click on the advanced post button (which will bring up the leave, stay box again) and post it from there.

after you click the "post" button, do you actually wait for the page to refresh to show your post?

I don't get the chance for it to refresh. As soon as I click "post" the "Are you sure you want to leave this page" box pops up like I'm trying to leave the thread.
I hasn't been doing it lately though, so I don't know what's triggering it.

idk either.
hasn't happened to me. but if i have text written into the reply field and try to close the tab...i get the same message.
