    Black Chrome 6UL

And some other bits for a subtle, different look:

Sorry for the poor cell phone pictures. Never got into cameras enough to figure out how to take a decent picture.

The wheels and smaller bits look amazing!!
I've considered powder coating the handles and Frankenbolts/-plates. Your pictures make the idea *much* more appealing.
    I'm totally jealous!

They look great! BUT at what it cost you.....I'd have to come into a LARGE amount of money to do some wheels. What was the weight of the wheel after plating? It has to add a few pounds I would think...

I don't know the exact cost of any particular item, but I budgeted over $1k for the plating and I am pretty sure it was more than that. I have a very generous sponsor who is helping defray the cost of this build as a bonus for building a national championship and 25 Hours of Thunderhill winning race car. The project had stalled out due to a downturn in my financial situation, and he said to give him a list of what it needed to complete it and he would help make it happen.

    Thanks Emilio.

The pictures really don't do the parts justice compared to stock. They made it clear that they could not turn pot metal parts into show car quality pieces, but they are an order of magnitude better than the 23 year old bits I handed to them.
