    My first car!

Hello my name is Knut-Henning and I live in Norway. I recently bought my dream car which I am extremely happy with!

    Mx-5 info:
    Model: NB (2000)
    Colour: British Racing Green
    Engine: 1.6l (5-speed manual)
Accessories: Hardtop (colour of car), Chrome (roll-bar, interior frames, gearknob, tanklid and turnsignals), Lexus tail lights? (Not sure, would be happy if someone could tell me) and stainless steel exhaust system | not sure if it has original front lights

I do not have a driver's license yet tho, but i will get one in about 3 months time. I have alot of small projects I want to finish before I get my driver's license.
    Like:
    - Installing a double din pioneer player (got from my dad, picture at bottom of the page)
    - Lifting the numberplate and adding a grill
    - New rims?

    * touchscreen, bluetooth, navigation, handsfree, cd/dvd, USB/Aux and reverse-camera (if wanted),

    - Ideas for improvement is really appreciated!
    - I will gladly answer any question i have a answer to

    Welcome!

The tail lights are often called lexus lights here (Norway), but in the US they're mostly refereed to as altezza lights, all the same.

Hi Knut, welcome to our site, we're glad you joined. That's a beautiful "first car". As a new driver, with a small car, just remember to drive as if you were on a motorcycle... assume other people can't see you. I look forward to your updates.

Just got my new grill and front number plate plinth from mx5parts. I had bought led driving lights from a local store earlier.

    Before:

    After:

I wanted to install driving lights that turns on whenever I turn on the ignition. This does not happen automatically since it is a import car. (All cars needs to have lights on during both daytime and nighttime in Norway)
The led strips turns off when parking lights or main lights is on. (built in relay) And the led lights is mounted to the babyteeth with strips untill I can find a better solution..
Spent 3-4 hours to install everything.

If anyone wants to see a more detailed description with pictures just tell me!

    What do you guys think?
