    Upcoming Tokyo/Osaka Trip Advice

    Afternoon gents,

I am off to Japan for my second time in november, A week each in both Tokyo & Osaka.

Sadly the only car related store i visited last time was Autobacs.

This time i have a few objectives:

    - CAR MAKE CORNS
    (does anyone have directions)

    - UPGARAGE
(most convenient location close to transport would be best)
(can they organise shipping for large items to Australia?)

-Would like to find an ARC distributor as i would like a few knobs.
    (WHERE??)

    - Generally looking for roadster specialist shops and other cool general car stores.

I hope i have posted this in the correct section and i thank you in advance for your help.

Try to get hold of Kolbotn, he was at CMC and a few other places a few years ago.

UpGarage should have no issues shipping to other countries, they have that option right on the website. I don't really know about car attractions, I spent all my time looking at normal tourist stuff.

I went to Mugen, outside of Tokyo, it was a long train ride, and a long cab ride to get there, but really cool, also stopped by a Mazdaspeed dealer, and then we hit a small Roadster Shop near Tokyo, I don't recall which one (it was a long time ago), but they did not speak any English so make sure you know the language or bring someone to translate!

Are you hiring a car or relying on public transport?

While not the end of the world, as PT here is quite good, it will make it harder for some shops. Saitama borders Tokyo to the west and Garage Vary are there: 埼玉県和光市下新倉5-18-21, TEL:048-469-1708. D-Technique have two offices, one in Tokyo, one in Yokohama: 東京都世田谷区玉川2-24-24-410, TEL 03-6431-0084; 神奈川県横浜市都筑区池辺町3960, TEL 045-590-5121. RS Aizawa are an hour out of Tokyo: 〒252-0014神奈川県座間市栗原中央4-16-58
TEL046-254-8798. Good luck with your visit!
