The new GF complaint the other day about the Miata riding "too harshly". I explained to her that driving in downtown Denver, is not the best use of a Miata.

So I took her to a canyon road, 4 miles due west of my apartment. Now gf wants a new Miata! ;)
96 Montego, replacing a 95M... I miss: My running peeps in Tampa, running barefoot @ Clearwater Beach and First Choice BBQ, in Brandon. In So Cal I miss: The Malibu Canyons, CA 33 and In & Out Burgers ! I'm from Tampa, if I was from Tampa Bay, I'd be a fish!

Painted a colour swatch to confirm these are the colours I want to go with when I get a respray.

Neo Green with a Sunburst Yellow, Brilliant Black and Crystal White stripe.

I need to get a custom Type V badge from Rev with a BRG background and I'll paint the red Roadster text yellow

*Excuse the crappy paint job on the sample, I got some 2oz sample bottles mixed up instead of aerosol cans to save money, but didn't think about how I was going to apply the paint.

^^That's going to look great. The black line is a subtle but tasteful addition.

I took my miata to a garage today. My ac has been not so good on days whe re outside temps are about 85 degreees. He hooked up his stuff said I was about 1/2 pound low so he filled my miata up and now its better. Not saying its supper cold but I can tell a big difference because its like 90 degrees outside and I did not have to roll down a window at stoplight to try and cool off

I picked up an NB drivers seat for $30 to test around in my NA for a while. Though I may end up turning it into a chair for my room, Top Gear style

Rebuilt one of the front calipers, then bought a new one for the other side, since it was too far gone to get the piston out to rebuild it. In honesty, I did none of that, I just paid a friend to take the hassle and do it for me.

I did, however, do a bit of autotuning.
