I'm converting my rear turn signals and tail/brake lights to LED.
What wattage/ohm resistors do I need and which wires will I need to hook them up to?

I know of at least one person that uses these 25 ohm, 25 watt resisters:

I've always used 6 Ohm x 50W without a problem.

You can modify the flasher module and NGAF about it. At least on the NA. TheNb you can switch over to a Ford-based module, IIRC. No Idea on the NC
I'm only on by phone at the moment but do a search for NB LED flash module. I don't know either if the NC uses the same.

Cool. I've got an na but I'll try with na and see what shows up
95M- JIC FLT-A2's, Konig Flatouts 15x8 with 225 RS3's, rollbar, nardi, FM catback, lightweight flywheel and ACT clutch. And much more to come!
With an NA, all you have to do is solder in a different resistor inside the flash module.

I did a writeup I think. A package of the correct resistors was a couple dollars at Radio Shack. You just have to replace one. The whole ordeal takes less than an hour, including removing and reinstalling the module.
Yeah I found it over on the pointy board. Just picked up the resistors

I modded my flasher unit. Was easy and works perfectly. EXCEPT if you have cruise control. Led mods with no resistors make your cruise control no workie. Has to do with the brake lights being wired into the system controling the on/off feature. It cant sense enough resistance. This on a NA not sure about NB.
That was the same problem I ran into with my NB. I got the LED tail lights to work fine with the (Ford) LED flash module but knocked out my cruise control. I had to add resistors to each brake light's wiring before my cruise control would work.
Of course, a couple months had passed between installing LED bulbs and having occassion to use my cruise control so I didn't make the connection (duh) until I had half the car torn apart to test wiring and buying another cruise control module.
