The Zoom fuel lid was looking awfully sad after just a month and was time to bust out the polish.
The base wasn't as bad as the lid itself was!

Ever since i installed my JR CAI the car hasn't been running right. Last weekend i cleaned the filter, was a bit better, but response and power was way down. This weekend it started bogging down when coming to a stop.

Changed the AFM back to my old one and it didn't run at all. Opened the new old AFM (unscrewed out the contact carefully, checked the wires and put it back together). Then i noticed that the damper was really slow. Lubricated it and it became way better.

Now its all good. Got my old ponies back, may even have gained two or three more.

Yes, that open-close-flappy-thing inside the AFM, on the filter-side. Would'nt fully close and I guess it didn't properly open either. Was really slow and sticky.

Installed the omgpham.com center console delete kit to go along with the garage star minimalist console carpet. Love the look and feel of the new setup. Ill post photos when I get the chance.

Got a call from WrenchWorxs today.... and they told me that their replacement tranny that they just installed that came from a 90na w/117k has rough shifting, so they are taking it down today and replacing it with another one. I thought I was getting my ride today, but I guess not. I told them to replace it with a 94+ tranny, and hopefully they do.

At least they'll be sure to get you a good transmission? :/

I tried to replace my headlight lid and the lid screws did not want to come out. Stripped 2 of them using JIS bits, didn't try the other two. Guess I'll have to pick up some pbblaster and thoroughly soak them. BTW, when JIS bits slip, they absolutely destroy the screw, not the same way an american bit would.

Thanks!! I took the hood off to fix a crack and to JB Weld the clips back on it. But while I had it off, I decided to go ahead and order some leather from redlinegoods so I could cover it to match my center console.
