I installed a Home Depot $8.00 front lip and almost changed the gearbox and diff oils. Almost.

I drove around for no reason this evening after dinner and brought some dessert back home. No rattle? SO AWESOME. And I swear I cured another half dozen barely-audible rattles in my search for the big one.

Washed muh car today. Gave it a bit of Converse All Stars afterwards.
Also swapped the steering wheel the other day, but took off the hex bolt trim ring cover today. It looks rad now, I'm gonna leave it like this for a while I think.

Drove it around trying to figure out what is rattling towards the back of my car. I think its the covers for the fuel pump and such, but it sounds like its coming from the trunk?

Also re adjusted my lip, a corner tore off from the bumper on the freeway
We're here for a good time, not for a long time.

I will add to the chorus of "found / fixed an annoying noise" folks... had a weird low "clunk" coming from the rear when turning, turned out one of the newly installed endlinks did not get tightened all the way down and the rear sway bar was sliding back and forth and bumping into the subframe. 5 minutes with a 14mm socket and wrench, 10 to test drive and make sure all was copacetic, done and done.

1.8l brake upgrade on my '91 and a complete suspension inspection - looks like crap, but everything is working properly. There is no slop anywhere and the shocks / springs do not seem to be failing. Also found out that I have the long crank, and not the crappy shorty....
