    1991 timing belt cover

The large timing belt cover I was putting it back on and the bolt on the.left side broke and.I cant get it out...how important is it that I have that bolt holding that portion of the cover on..so my question is, is it ok to have the large.cover.held on with only 2 bolts.or do.I need to somehow.have that btoken bolt removed?

Should be fine. If the cover is secure and not contacting moving parts, it is good. Removing it is another concern altogether.

Ran all my past miatas without the cover. Just run the 2 bolts or leave the whole thing off.
