    That was back in Nov. 2014 and if I remember this right there is a bolt that sticks down at rear of the I Beam that can be sheared off. An example he gave was: If a road is being re-paved and they have taken up the old asphalt sometimes the manhole covers etc can be sticking up. If you straddle one when you run over it and the car is lowered far enough, the bolt can be sheared off and it also holds up part of the rear end/ differential etc. The shop Mgr. was talking about making a type of skid plate to add to the I Beam to keep this from getting damaged.

    car looks great, I don't think it needs a skid plate, the car is not low enough to need that imho.

    Would agree...this thing is nowhere near low enough to worry about the road conditions lol...that is for the slammed life...

    If it was, I think the oil pan would be a bigger area of interest.

    OK, just going by what the shop guy showed us and he did say "IF' the car was lowered and I think he did say something about most folks do put a skid plate over the oil pan but neglect the rear. Thanks

    I put a new battery and a battery cut off switch in the Rooster today.

    did you add shifter extension or something? looks really tall, almost too tall?

    It was on Rooster when I got him, and at first I thought it was too tall but after driving a bit I changing my mind, I like it.
