    Driver's Seat Belt Will Not Extend

    My '94 M has a stuck seat belt. By stuck I mean, the seat belt is rolled up properly in the pretensioner but will not allow me to pull the belt out. I love my car but the thought of tooling around Atlanta in a 2200 lb car and not wearing a seat belt gives me the creeps. I'm sure others have seen this happen but I haven't managed to the right search terms to locate a solution. Long term I think the belt will need replacement as the webbing is pretty frayed.

    Your suggestions are appreciated.
