    Hey All, from Scotland

    Hi All,
I have owned my NA MX5 Miata for the last couple of years and it's taken me that long to get it into the kind of place where I'm happy with it. It was a very solid low mileage UK example to start off with but the original engine had been replaced and the new one needed the top end rebuilt. After that it needed some paintwork on the drivers side and after the addition of a decent BT stereo and speakers I thought I would be finished with it. I had no idea that these little cars had so many options and ways for you to part with your money!

So Racing Beat Air Intakes, Mufflers, Minilite wheels, Jass TSI's, a hardtop etc etc were added to a ever increasing shopping list. I still need to change the stock suspension to get a bit lower and add Revlimiter's nose and wheel badges but the car fund has been 'exhausted' for the moment.

I set up an instagram account a few months back so some of you who are on there may have seen me and my car from there. But here are a few pics from my Instagram showing the car with it's recent upgrades fitted..

Ah yes I've discovered how quickly these cars can empty your wallet...in a good way of course!

I can post some pics of some of my road trips to whet your appetite for visiting one of these days

Oh Yes, please do, would like to see some pics, road trips are what Miatas were made for!!! As to the wallet, if it's not just fixing 'ONE' car up, its buying and fixing up 2 or more, there is just way tooo much coolness on this site, I think I've caught Jay Leno's syndrome.

Delighted to hear you have been over in Scotland. The central area isn't the best for driving roads. The Highlands and Islands are much better. I'll need to post some pictures from my road trip to Applecross and Lochinver in the North West Highlands.

Would be great to see any you have taken when you were over as well.
