    Who makes needle caps?

Thinking about needle caps for my gauge cluster, actually had a dream about them. I checked the RetroModern and RevLimter websites, which were my primary leads based on their business, no luck. Does anyone make readily available, affordable needle caps?

Maaaaayyyyybe. It would be great to find full replacement needles, as I think the AWD covers make the needles overly large for the cluster. Did/do full replacement needles that are OEM sized ever exist? Perhaps I'll scan through my HyperRevs.

I am making a set this year. Not available right now though.

And mine will be OEM sized to glue on the top, but not make the sides so big. I've never liked how huge the needles are when a full cap is installed.

I had a set of Jass needle caps. They were pretty nice and cheap (~$54 shipped direct IIRC)

I actually had plans to meet with the machine shop tomorrow about mine.

I won't be able to touch mass produced overseas prices, most likely. But mine will be quite pretty.

That's the first time I've actually looked at the Jass website...interesting. Looks like RS Products makes black ones and Zeromotive make some. I'll wait to see Adam's look like.

the jass ones are pretty nice, they dont quite have the shine of the awd ones when you put them side by side though

I should have a quote on mine in a few weeks. And, well, I'll know if the design I want to do is even possible.

Jass are stainless, I think? And Il are chromed plastic.

Adam, yours will be just the top of the needle cap, or full, just smaller/thinner?

Yeah well the AWD ones were diamond-turned, cost 3x as much, and are NLA
Having been through a couple sets, the Jass ones are the preferred replacement (for now) IMO.
