2,000 rpm - light wheelspin, no bog here!
Beautiful, Rare, NOS Moto-Lita Shift Knob
I don't know how many of you are familiar with Moto-Lita. It is a an old English manufacturer of steering wheels, with a long and storied history. I stumbled across this listing on eBay for a NOS Moto-Lita shift knob. I did not even know that Moto-Lita had ever even made shift knobs.

I bit the bullet and bought one, not knowing what my $100 would bring. Well, I received it and it is a beauty. Exudes the classic sports car vibe. Surprisingly heavy for a wood knob...there seems to be a lot of metal not just on it, but in it. Really solid and feels great in the hand. It is destined for my I-hope-not-too-far-in-the-future Miata restoration.
It will require a custom insert for the top of the knob. Perfect project for Adam when the time comes. It will also need to be adapted to fit the stick.
Not cheap, but all I can say is WOW!

Beautiful!!! I believe I've already done an insert for the top of one. But it looks pretty simple anyway.
