HT installed, looks sweet! Had to readjust radio volume, heard tranny/driveline lash for the first time. Same with fuel slushing...

Finally found one of many rattles. Turns out it was from the battery area and that I lack a battery tie down. No bueno. So I did a ghetto fix for the time being and I can keep my sanity.

The other day, I adjusted the MAF, apparently having it upside down may affect how it works, at this point I'm willing to try anything to get this car running properly. I also adjusted the TPS. But, I haven't been able to take it on a test drive, since we had a dump of snow with more forecasted. So, it'll have to wait.

Put on R front lip, then took her for a drive which ended at the request of the local constabulary.

Was reminded by same that a front license plate is required in the state of Maryland.

Promptly returned home and mounted said plate back into position.

Was it an annoying ass rattle that sounded like a HT rattling and only happens on the freeway at high speeds? Because I am having this ridiculous rattle and I can't really seem to figure out what it is exactly. It's coming from the rear passenger side. I don't believe it's my HT because I have Spec Miata plates on the sides. Can't be my roll bar, that's securely bolted down. I has no clue.

Yea, it was a really fast tapping/rattling sound. It sounded like it was coming from the passenger side of the trunk. For me it happened when ever the car was in motion. Yours might be the same. Turn it on and then pop the trunk and listen for it. I just had to secure my battery down tight and the noise went away. Also check that the covers for the fuel pump and such are bolted down tight those can make the same annoying noise also.
