    Black on Black

I have had several questions about the difference between matte black vinyl and shiny black vinyl. This is the best example I have so far. A customer asked for a shiny black-on-matte black design for his center cap badges.

I am going to do a quick test of one or two under epoxy to see how the contrast between the two finishes holds up under the shiny stuff. I'll post the outcome to our Facebook page as well as in this thread.

Just a reminder, the first 100 people who "Like" us on Facebook will receive a special coupon code. And it CAN be combined with the MiataRoadster.net coupon code (MRNET).

From the catalog, this is Type MS but without the outer ring. I think it would look great with the outer ring but the customer didn't want it.

    Stay tuned for finished pics!

Well...you never know unless you try, right?

When Titus asked for this black-on-black design I told him that I was afraid when the epoxy went down it would just go pure black. And...it did. Now the question is: what do I do with these perfectly round, shiny black epoxy stickers? Almost seems a shame to chuck them in the trash.

Yeah, me too. The new black and yellow will look sweet on his yellow car, though.
