Anyone have one of these? Is it worth the price?

A friend of mine had it and if your are tall that you have to push the chair almost all the way back (that is your elbow will rest on it) then it is nice at it adds padding and elevates your arm to the level for the shift knob. But me at 5'5" my elbow will just miss that pad anyways lol.

I have just ordered the IL Motorsport console (one with cup holders on the front right side) that Moss sells as they have 35% off right now. The pad area is extended longer and so I hope that would give that elbow rest I have been wanting.

I have one for Barbara's '92, but I have to find the wiring gremlin before reassembling……Nice piece though.

I've got one. Replaced someone's DIY armrest with it. Works great, not so soft that your arm sinks into it, but not too firm that it's just a raised center console lid.
One thing I would say that people probably don't think about is that the lid doesn't open quite as far since the pad hits the passenger seat when up. But I don't have any issues getting in and out of the center console.
Had it for four years, no signs of wear and has stayed in place without shifting.
So I saw this on CR this AM located in San Francisco + shift knob + cushion + leather goods for a price no one in their right mind would refuse so I travelled today to pick this up. Regarding the one I ordered well it will go on my other project. Now all I can say is if you can wait to get this it is so worth it (or go for it as it is still on sale 35%). My short arm LOL is well rested on the cover itself. More cabin room is just an extra. For me what matters most is that I finally have an armrest. Technically the rubber cushion is not really necessary unless you really have long long arms. But if the passenger will scoot all the way back then she/he can avail of the cushion for sure. Now the cup holders are not deep but good enough for soda cans. Not too sure with those tall coffee mug yet. But the placement is perfect IMO. Here is how it sits....

I have one. It fits perfect on the OEM lid, but mine kept sliding forward even with the little side latch catch. It would even get knocked off by my elbow when I reached for the passenger side window roller. 3M double sided tape fixed the issue. I bought it to cover up my cracked lid but it does add some comfort, so I would say it was worth the money. If I bought it just for comfort the product wouldn't have really impressed me much.

I forgot that I too used some double sided tape to keep it in place. I think I just considered that common sense. It may not seem like that since it doesn't come with anything to install it with, but every aftermarket part shouldn't have to hold your hand to get installed.
Mine looks the same as Martin's, just imagine it surrounded by tan... that's not as nice... and mouse furr carpet. But hey, I've got the snazzy Rev Limiter switches!

No hand holding needed here, just a heads up about needing the tape.
Product description states: Ingenious design cups the top of the lid and a little "ear" holds on to the latch, so the pad won't fall off when you open the console. The pad simply rests on the lid without tape, glue, screws or any permanent modification.
