In my circle of friends, the level of work done for most of my "repairs" is called "full Steve". What I consider repairs, most would consider as restorations.

Ate dinner, relaxed a little, then got after it. Two hours later, working solo, I got this far.

You will love this, then. Disassembled the ducts and washed them with hot, soapy water. I was shocked how dirty these were.

Mod Squad
KFJ, you need to take "ownership" of my car for a while. Then give it back after the full Steve is done.

Still waiting for the harness. New heater core arrived today. Carpets are dry. Finished painting the crash bar that bolts behind the dash.
I will begin reassembling dash soon.
I will also be adding heat insulation on the tunnel and floor.

Had you thought about using any padding on the AC tubes, to quiet potential vibrations? With the spare dash that I had purchased, I had added bits of weatherstripping to any potential points of contact (frame to shell, ducts to shell, etc). This was done mostly to counter the noise created by the delrin mounts . Unfortunately, I sold the car before ever doing the swap; so I don't know what kids of effect it would have made.

I have a few tiles of sound deadener I have thought about placing about the underside. I have a bit of time, I may still do it.
I used strips of Gorilla tape to re enforce the plastic cable ties for the dash harness.
Thanks for the suggestion!
