Hey! Thanks! I love your build, great work with that tail light panel.

Still have a long way to go, I am starting to collect OEM and aftermarket parts to rebuild the car, but our economy isn't helping the situation and it will take a while. So many awesome parts coming for sale in this forum and other, and I can't purchase anything. :/

Haven't updated for some time, actually since i had the accident early this September.

Some stuff happened, installed the NA6 dash, got a KGWorks panel, finally fixed all the gauges of my cluster to work and function as they should, and got a used 365 wooden Nardi classico.

Pretty much that's how my interior is now.

I am missing the cluster hood and the knee panel below the steering wheel, and I will also be ordering a set of window switches from Adam later this month. And I have to install my KGWorks rearview mirror.

Pretty much done, or at least at a decent level for the interior.

    The exterior, now...

I don't know if it would be nice to make the exterior look crappy, rat-style, with a nice looking interior, or save up some money (around 1.5K euros) for a respray from a bodyshop that has excellent reputation.

Then I have other things to spend money on. I want to changes the bushes, rebuild the motor, turbo it, and so on.

    Interior is coming along Peter!

It never ceases to amaze me how much a KG Works, RS Products or similar gauge panel improves the cluster, should have been oem. Not sure if you know it but Adam aka Revlimiter is doing his annual Sharksgiving sale so now is the time to get those window switches which i believe he said is the first time they are part of the sale.

Thank you both for your kind words.

Let's say I had a "feeling" and I didn't order the switches a couple weeks ago as I originally intented, but instead I ordered a set yesterday. And I can brag that I was Adam's first order for his Sharkgiving special.

After the switches and my rearview mirror are installed, there's not much I want to add. Maybe a set of teardrop speaker covers, but I'm pretty much set.

Edit: another photo of the cluster, after I installed the horn surround ring.

Hey mate. Came from GReasemonkey2000's thread as I didnt want to clutter up his build thread with questions specific to the KG works RVM

So your NA8, with the KG works mirror attached where it is, does that mean you lost your interior lights?

Also, how did you get rid of the windshield mounted factory bracket for the factory mirror? In the pic above it looked like there was a crack on the windshield? or am I seeing things?

Yeah, I lost the interior lights, but I have the two on the dash that came with the na6 dash. Also I wired some led strips from where the factory na8 lights were, down to the footwells, as you can see in some of the pictures (job not completed yet).

I was in a hurry to take my car, I tried to put my OEM rear view mirror back to its place while the car was under the sun during an extremely hot day, pushed it a little harder than I should, and I cracked it :/

I had found a windshield from a NA6 that I would swap anyway, from the same car I got my dash, so I didn't care, I was planing to change the weatherstrips also. But the guy who sold it to me, managed to crack it while removing it, so I am trying to find a new one.

BUT, if I was to keep the na8 windscreen, I would modify the original mirror bracket to mount a gopro.
