HD22: Transfer Relay (Interior fan blower)
LA10: TNS Relay
LA12: Retractor Relay
H300: Headlight Relay

What does the transfer relay have to do with the starter?
What does TNS stand for?
Thank you for your reply
Don't know what TNS stands for, maybe TurN Signal. Either that or im misinformed and the TraNSfer relay is actually called TNS. But the LA10 is for your turn signals, brake lights and dash lights I believe.
HD22 and starter? IDK. Thought it was just for the blower. Why?

I bought this car and it won't start by turning the key. The owner had wired a switch in to jump the starter solenoid. They told me it was because the hd22 relay was bad. I bought a used one and this did not fix it but it does click when the key is turned to the start position. I have checked the clutch switch and it is good. You are correct about the blower fan as it works with the relay plugged in. When I first installed the relay I started it with the jumper switch and as soon as I tuned the jumper switch off the engine would stop. I unplugged the relay and tried it and it would stay running. Later I reinstalled the relay and now it will stay running but still won't start with the key. The fact that the replay clicks when I turn the key to the start position tells me that the ignition switch is good.
Any ideas.
Thank you in advance
No idea. I found the complete factory service manual online in PDF format. All 1600 or so pages for my '92. Maybe see if you can find one for yours and start studying the electrical diagrams for troubleshooting.

The problem turned out to be the ignition switch. If I had not been told it was the relay I would have looked at the ignition switch first. The HD22 relay does control the blower fan and the reason there is a wire from the starter to the relay is to turn the blower off when you are starting the car.
$85.99 later and problem is solved.
Thanks for all the help, the factory manual was a big help.
