I dont know. I just dont want to come up like trying to hack the group buy thread. I sure hope that people that are considering buying this item within this forum see this thread as I have followed both of yours cars looking at this awesome tail end set up. But tell you what, Im planning on asking Marc directly about modification options of the CF panel and then ask him if its ok to post the response/question on his group buy thread. Maybe Marc is seeing this and he can drop by a comment here ;-).

Lol, you read my mind! I think I'm going to order a set off of eBay though for half the price from JDM something or other, as i read on another forum some had used them and were very happy with the results. I just installed 5 led side marker light bulbs (#194-amber and red for the respective lens) from Superbrightleds.com and they are so much brighter. Bought some for the license plate lights but they don't work, not sure if their faulty or....

I really like the Carbon Miata trunk lid!

Major update: I have been chasing a specific pair of seats for over 5 years, since my first Miata.
    I finally have them.

Before that, however, I have some pretty pictures and a video. I drove up to Asheville early last December with my girlfriend and got really lucky with the weather on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

It was just warm enough that the roads were great and the grass was mostly green, but the trees were still iced over on one portion of the mountain. It looked like we were driving through a different planet.

We drove at least 200 miles of the Parkway while we were up there, and made it 17 miles from the Smokey Mountains before the roads were closed.

Even ran into another Miata up there!

    A couple more pics

All in all it was an amazing visit, with some amazing driving. Wish I could have made it all the way to the dragon, but I'll do that another time.

    Anyways...the seats!

The owner before the guy I bought them from told me they are replica porsche seats used commonly in 914s and others. They're exactly what I've imagined in the goal for my Miata. They fit me perfectly, are ridiculously comfortable, and they fit on the stock sliders.

After years of pining over them, the timing was right and they're finally in my possession!
Betty will be staying like this for a while (other than shift knobs and maybe a new front air splitter).
