Tire Recommendations for 2012 GT
I've just purchased a 2012 Grand Touring, on which the original 205/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE0050A 84W summer tires need replacing. I'm seeking an all-season tire that will deliver the best combination of handling and tread life. I'm currently leaning toward Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 84W, Continental Extremecontact DWS 06 88W, or BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2A/S 88W. Would appreciate opinions on these three or any other alternatives.

6,000 rpm - mere mortals would shift
I have nothing but good things to say about the Sport Comp 2 for a spirited daily driver tire.

I ran those Michelins on my BMW. I think they are the best a/s tires I have ever had. The Contis you listed are really quiet, great in the rain, but the sidewalls are really soft and that relates in cornering sponginess. BFG is a subsidiary of Michelin, but I haven't tried that model yet.

I'm thinking about those Sport Comp 2's for my NA. Glad to hear some favorable reviews here...
