    BP4w head swap question...

If I were to swap a BP4W head and flat top intake on a 96 1.8, is that all that would need to be done for it to work with the stock ECU? I assume that a there's probably something that would need to be capped on the flat top.

flat top will not line up on the BP4W. It is designed for the '01-05 VVT engines.
With the stock ECU you may run lean

    It does fit a BP4W…..
I'm putting a BP4W head and 2001 intake on my wifes 96M right now.
Planning on keeping the OEM ECU……I hope.
I also am putting a BP4W head/w cam, on a built 2001 block with a Squaretop in my '90 next week.
    It will be squirted though.

I was under the impression that they will bolt up but are mismatched ports
