For those with Runabout M2 Mirrors

    Hey guys

So i installed my Runabout mirrors the other day. I bought these second hand from Yahoo Japan Auctions and when I received them, it only came with the base pieces and the mirror themselves. I've been told that they should also come with 4x hex-key screws to screw them on to our doors, but I never got them.

Currently they're being held on with just the normal phillips screws that our OEM mirrors are held on with. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light as to where I can get the same, if not similar length screws that utilized the hex key?

    Cheers

I think any M6x1.0 socket head screw should work. I got some from a local hardware store, but I now use GS security bolts for my mirrors

If you want to be authentic, my M2-1002 came with Torx-head screws.

I guess anything will do which is more than just a philips head screw since it's so easily accessbile compared to a torx or hex-head screw!

Contact Kenjo at Garagestar, and he'll pack enough M6x1.0 security screws for your mirror set. It's not something that's offered on the GS site specifically for side mirrors.
