The retrofit sounds interesting and I'm contemplating getting the parts for later on.

But I guess I'll put it off a bit, as it sounds like more work than I care to fit into the maybe 4 weekends I have between now and a trip to Canada that I will take with the car. Don't want to risk disabling the A/C all together before then. After I get back however, and will have a spare car for around town, sure.

On that note, anyone still able to find Dryers available from Mazda? I looked a few months ago and couldn't find it at Rosenthal Mazda, or much else in the A/C department. (That's one thing I'd like to avoid used due to the nature of it.)
