Scored a pair of shorty rear mudflaps for some friendly help. Just got around to installing them. Had to do what I could to clean them up. Passenger side just needed some polishing, but the driver's side needed the top coat sanded off to remove the oxidation. Then had to use heat to bring some shine back to it since polishing didn't work.

Ain't perfect, but pretty good for free.

Word of warning for those with long rear mudflaps, keep an eye on where the flaps meet the quarter panel. The paint on both sides had been rubbed through (driver's side was worse, managed to rub straight down to the metal). So I had to use some Dr. Colorchip to hide the damage as best as possible. Which seems to work fine since it's not immediately noticeable.

Rust is Satan! Good work Slampen. And the jury is still out on the shifter swap with the console reinstalled. Sorry. Starting to fall back in love with the short movement from the wheel to the shifter. If I get the diff. in I'll know for sure.

    Nice work fellow nut-case!

I know I am a bad guy for removing RevLimiter / Garage5 goodness with the Marrad seat install. I am here to redeem myself. Forgive me Adam.

After many toils and troubles today I finally got to sit down and enjoy my new home HVAC in working order and tinker in the house. A lot a residue removal from the Konigs centers and we have...

I know Noir needs a bath! But we may head to VIR or BRP Sunday morning to see if she spits these beauty marks into the median or woods.

Thanks Adam! And these are the secondary set.

These are taken with the Olympus so zoom in folks. And I removed the Garage5 shift knob only because with the seat lowered the knob had the height a bit off for comfort. Think keg handle to short shifter.

Be careful because black wheels matter

Wheels, tires, centers and myself and Noir are all back safe. We took a different route than my shake-down course. We went the old CBR 600 F3 route.

And I could not have asked for a mostly flawless day. Little fog and drizzle on the BRP from Fancy Gap to half-way to the off @ 8 near Stuart, Va.. And one 3500 4500 with an equipment trailer in the curves near Walnut Cove. But all in all a blast day. 4 1/2 hours of seat-time without pause and most were wheel turning!

I need to hit the lottery so this is a normal day.

A couple weekends ago I was cleaning out the garage looking for some parts (you know why NCGreasemonkey), and I decided to drop off some rims that I have wanted to have refinished.
Pana ProRallys 15x6.5 et40 They came off of a civic at a pretty reasonable price.
They were bad paint and curb rash, but I am quite happy with the results.

Other than get the misfire finally sorted with some Denso wires...

I did this but with daylight turning off way to early now it is just a teaser shot.

They are supposed to have Rev goodness in the center. But Konig changed center medallion sizes on me between the Dial-ins and the Hyper grams. Will try to get good shot before the Hurricane sucks us off the planet.
