What is the proper way to depressurize the fuel system in a 99 NB?

While waiting for my repair manual to come I did some research on how to depressurize my car's fuel system but got some conflicting info. I hope someone can clear this out.

Start the car and then unplug/remove the fuel pump fuse.......

    1. Is this the 30amp "Fuel Inj Fuse" located in the passenger side of the engine compartment?

    OR

    2. The alleged "Fuel Pump relay" located somewhere inside the driver side dash panel?

    Thanks in advance guys.

I've always done it via the relay under the dash, guess NA habits die hard with an NB. lol Either way works.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.
