2002 Laser Blue Mica Miatas - Internet Order only Color - # of 151

I am really glad to see other Laser Blue owners, I have countless hours of research and digging to find other people and more info on this very limited production color. I must say it is really cool that I will probably never pass another person with the same car! I have seen vivid Yellows and and a Lava Orange but only seen maybe 3 or 4 laser blues on the internet, period... and never seen another in person. I live in Oregon so if any of you is close please PM me.

What surprises me is how many folks mistake it for one of the other blues. If you look at this pic from CR@TG '10, you can see what Laser and Laguna look like in the same light: Here you get to see Laser, Sapphire, and Laguna next to each other. It's easy to see the difference between Sapphire and Laser when they're next to each other, though you'd be amazed how many people ask if I drive a 10AE! Laser Blue, especially in sunlight, is probably the brightest and most vibrant of all of the NA/NB blues.

-I have even had people offer to sell me the accessories from their old 10AE's because they thought it was one! lol I agree LB is probably the brightest of the blues , and definitely one of my all time favorite colors.



Just got the stripes put on last week! I get a kick out of all the looks it gets with them. lol

If that's Mt. Hood in the background, I was pretty close to you last week: I was in Portland for a week for a work assignment. Back in Cincinnati now, though

Lol, thats actually Mt. Saint Helens, but very close. that shot was taken at Rocky Butte in Se Portland. I am sorry I missed you while you were in town, I actually live in downtown and work by PDX, so I am almost surprised you didn't see my LB bombing around in the nice weather. PM me if you are going to be in the neighborhood again and we will grab coffee or something and talk Laser Blue.

I live over in Pleasant Run Farms (just past Forest Park in Springfield Township). I'm actually from Canton, up in the northeast corner of Ohio.
