Thumbs up (Tampa) Street Racing KILLS! Don't do it!

This is one that will surely make national headlines..........

    (2) Hondas line up for a street race on the Gandy bridge late at night and one Honda gets hit by an SUV moving at speed (60mph) that did not realize the (2) Hondas were sitting in the traffic lanes. What dumbasses!!

damn. I dont know who to feel bad for. The drunk driver that hit the honda who should not have been at a stand still at speed, or the honda guys who were trying street race. I guess that is why you take it to the track.

How the fuck did the Honda driver live through that? He must have had harnesses and a racing seat. If that was me, I'd have whiplash at the least if not paralysis or decapitation from the rollbar.

Ya I saw that, that was insane. I had to watch a few times to see what happened to the guy who was standing there lining them up. I'm glad he saw the suv coming and moved out of the way. That would've been a nasty death.

    * The Honda guys shouldn't have been street racing.
    * The drunk driver shouldn't have been driving.

On a positive note, at least the spectators didn't just get out of dodge and had the courtesy to call 911.
