    Should I paint these wheels?

Quick low down: Picked up a new set of wheels and I am considering getting them repainted.

    SSR Formula Mesh 15x6.5 & 15x7

The previous owner had the wheels refinished prior to storage (a few years ago) so with a little rub & polish they are good to be mounted. (Could even do so by this afternoon)

I currently have everyones favorite: XXR 002s in a Gold & Silver lip finish that I love and works well with my overall car and color scheme.

So I have always planned for my next set of wheels to be gold (center w/ polished lip) and have been thinking about painting the center of these SSR's Gold. But looking at the wheels more and more I kind of like the Silver look.

I guess my community question is, should I :

A: Go ahead and get these mounted ASAP (as is in the silver finish)

B: Have wheels repainted (gold center) (pay to paint and wait a few weeks)

I did a really quick chop of these wheels with a Gold center. Thoughts?

Mods feel free to move this if its not relevant here.

I think the gold centers would look a lot better but I would probably be to happy to own a set of SSR's I would just mount them right away. Either colorway, they are going to look awesome.

Wow, lots of votes for the silver.

I guess the benefit of keeping it silver means I can mount these by this week / wknd and I can put that money towards other necessary mods.

Plus I can always live with it now and paint them later when the lady desires some new nail polish.

The wheel specs per the sellers thread:

    15x6.5 +4 & 15x7 +11, 4x100

Anyways thanks for the votes and I'm now leaning towards the "Now in silver option".

I mean I can always paint them later. Plus I still need to find a local painter and get an idea of coating costs.

I voted for silver. Sometimes color coordinating interior with exterior can be overkill, but like you said you can always paint them later if you change your mind.

    Silver.
It's all up to my friend. That's why there is chocolate and vanilla in the world. Both good, some like one more than the other.

For the love of God, keep them silver. They've already been refinished. Leave them for a while. Run through a set of tires and then decide on changing their color.
