Its a FL car. Not a lot of AWD V6 down there, but we found one.
Way off topic, but I refurnished the home office. Taking advantage of a decent sale, I bought a height-adjustable sit/stand workbench, table, a 1 drawer/2 door cabinet and a 72x30 tall cabinet.
Solid wood tops, steel construction. I could barely find a decent particle board L or U shaped office suite at the price, features, and size. These were all intended for a garage, but I liked the style, functionality, and durability.
I need to tidy up the wiring and hang some art, but I love it

No todo que es oro brilla.
Yeah, its a big PC, but I run rendering software and hefty graphic card and RAM. The huge WACOM monitor isnt on the desk, I use it less and less so I store it until I need it.
It's alright man. What IRQ did you set your SoundBlaster to? 4?

Spring has arrived. Took the hardtop off and went for a drive this evening.

Don't say that! It means my garage will be 150 degrees soon.

Meh.
May be time to set this car free soon. I am actively looking at another make & model for purchase.
Recent career changes will have me commuting to downtown Atlanta. Its a little over 20 miles each way.
While I would love to take the train, its not a feasible option because I live a bit too far north and my hours are unpredictable.
A little more, something more relaxed and comfortable in Atlanta traffic would be a positive. Traffic here is not as bad as LA was, but it is definitely considerably more aggressive and has different weather.
I considered a commuter beater like an older Lexus, but its a car I would have to leave outside when parked at home. Additionally, paying insurance and registration on 3 cars is sort of wasteful to me.
I am always researching and watching prices on a select number of makes and models, I never know when I will need to buy another (through attrition or other needs). One of those is an e82 BMW 1-Series. Specifically, a 128i coupe. On paper, it is the spiritual successor to my beloved e36m3 I owned over 10 years ago and a severely under-rated model. It is far more reliable than the turbo versions, but still with the silky inline 6 engine that I adore.
I have time to find the right one and have put out feelers nation-wide that I would be willing to travel to, or have shipped, the right one.
Specifically, I am looking for one in silver, white, or dark grey, korallrot (red) interior, 6sp manual, sports package interior, sports package suspension. I would prefer a slick top (no sunroof), non-Navi package, low miles, and clean history. Some compromises may be made if an exceptional one presents itself, but we will see.

Joining the Bring More Wallet crowd. You could do worse for platforms, though. The 1-series always intrigued me.
