I may polish another hood and have louvres put in. It's a big logistical mess underneath to cope with any water getting in while driving. I'd have to devise some kind of airbox setup which wouldn't be terribly hard, but not really top of my list of things to do. Who knows, maybe when I put the car down for the winter after the subaru is running I may devote some more time to that project. Time will tell.

In for front-tilting-hood madness. I have pondered many different ways to accomplish that, I like where you are headed with the Bimmer bits.

I really like what you've done with this car. I really pondered what you drove up untill you made this thread.

If I recall Foo had his hands on a pretty rare set (in the states) of R-type tan Nakamae Leather Seats. I probably would have bought them if I didn't visit my GF in Japan the time he was selling them and if they were black, but now that I think about it... I should have bought them anyhow. They are my dream seats.

get the front hinge done! i'm glad i wasn't the only one out there who's been wanting to do that to their own Miata. my friend had an E30 and E28 and I've always just oggled at the way his hood opens and wanted to do it ever since. do it, and make a DIY so i can "imitate" you!
