    Miata Ram Air Kits?

I come from the American car crowd so just wondering if anyone makes a ram air kit for these cars? Most of the kits I see look like they just remove the air box and stick a cone filter by the exhaust header? I would rather have a ram air setup or something to rig cold air into the car. Ideas, DIY stuff you have done or link to a ram air kit?

Which year/chasis are we talking about here? The JR kit is an interesting configuration, but the plastics used are crap and tend to break.

with NB, you can use the Autoexe/Gruppe M intake kit, but it's even more expensive than the JR

In cases like these, I would say DIY is the best option. But if you can find a good deal like George did then jump on it

looks like his profile says 1997 Miata LOL ;p

Racing Beat used to make one. Looks like all they have now is the "U" shaped intake.

Well there is the "Randall Cowl", but I don't know if it will work on a NB...

Whoa, super rare. I guess that's where Jackson Racing got the "inspiration"?

The cowl intake kit would work great for you http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...umber=05-27000 , when at speed the cowl area is a high pressure area so it grabs cool air. You can even make your own for much cheaper although it won't look as good.
