I love the first design but with the "hard parking" part.

So, who can take a Daikei hub to Kenjo for me?! I'll be at work (SP) till 4pm and would appreciate it if one of you going to Seca could bring it up for me to save on shipping.

    Thanks.

BIG props to the Ladies of KINOD last time for preparing food at the pits! I'm so jealous of you all....

I highly recommend that route. It's a twisty country road with no center divider and occasional canopies of trees. Some farms and animals, not much else. My favorite scenic route I've ever driven on. In the Spring it's beautiful. It's one of the reasons I enjoy driving to Laguna Seca and back. Tried to get KINOD to go back to the 101 that way two years back.

Carmel Valley Road from the town of Greenfield to Carmel Village, then up Laureles Grade Road puts you
1/4 mile from the entrance to Laguna Seca. Make a left at Monterey / Salinas Hwy, pass MRLS, and several miles down is the meet and greet B-B-Q at the host hotel.

I also take the 198 from Coalinga / I-5 to the 101 and back the same way. Another awesome scenic drive on a two-lane country road.

However, I won't be seeing you guys there this year. I registered, but have been too busy at work to prepare.

Have a great time and a safe drive up and back. See you soon.

I do the 198 every year when we go up for the ALMS races. On the way home, we go up to hollister (an hour north), and take the 25 south, which dead ends in the 198. Its the same as the 198, only 65 miles worth...
