actually I've been in the same situation multiple times.
all the cops i've been pulled over by have been total dicks have actually let me go without anything....even one time I was told to 'get the hell outta here' lol... and a few times where they've opened my door to talk to me and then slammed it afterwards.
but all the super nice cops in a good mood end up giving me tickets. I even got complimented before by an officer, along the lines of :you must've put a lot of money in to this thing, its a nice car: *then hands me the ticket* and before that, when he walked up to me he asked me if my car was an RX-7 lol

He was so nice that my passenger said "for one minute i thought he was gonna let you go" but to be fair he kinda did. He gave me a ticket for 80mph when i was really doing over 90 and since my license was expired (i didn't know, thinking it was expiring later this week) he gave me a fix it ticket for license not present instead of driving unlicensed. Good guy overall, and he didnt even make me pop my hood. All the dick cops in pasadena dont even wait to ask for license and registration, its always "pop the hood" as soon as they get to my window. My car is super stock, i don't get it :/

I was part of the fast group. They're pretty quick drivers. Supposedly I held up a lightly tuned non-vtak integra...even though I don't remember falling off that much from the s2k guys.
My Monday evening stroll after dinner. My cousin thought I was weird wanted to walk through a parking garage. I actually went to an amusement park earlier in the day, but truthfully was more excited when I saw this.

I embarassed an entire convoy of s2ks on little tujunga canyon. Only dude that tried to keep up was in a boosted civic si pushing 330 at the wheels. They all thought I was bullshitting when I told em I was stock, hood popping and nervous giggles followed.
That aside, that lancer made my day. Did that year make it to the US or was it imported?

You weren't slow. They were pissed you kept up with them easily in a lower hp, non-Homda. It will happen a LOT. I know it irks the BMW guys on drives like that too.
