Are you referring to the first part we bought for our current Miata, or first part we bought for the first Miata we owned?
I think the first bits I got were the tan leather Brainstorm Eng. shift and handbrake boots...which I'm still using.
Or it might have been some of those cheesy eBay Altezza tail lights, which I thankfully never used.
it's been a long time and I don't have any pictures as we had to use films back then, remember those! It was PIAA 1000 driving/fog lights.

Shocks and springs
A Racing Beat 4-2-1 Header that incorporates the factory heat shield.
I'll have to sift thru about 10 pages of eBay feedback history to get my first purchase, but, I'm pretty sure it was a set of used stock Bilstein shocks and springs.
I bought a Voodoo shift knob BEFORE I bought a Miata for it. And about a month later, I bought a rollbar. HDHCDD, which was new to the market at the time.
OBX shock bar, and I'm still using it, 11 years later!

The first thing I bought for my turbo '95 R was a DDMWorks 3-gauge panel.
The first purchase for my '99 was the 6ULs.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.
