    Midwest Newbie

    Hey guys/gals,

I'm Jimmy, checking in from the midwest, 15 minutes south of Cincinnati OH.

Coming from the Volkswagen world, still have 2 of them and love them, but
I needed a change of pace. My parents had/have a Miata so i always knew
    what they were/are.

Purchased my Silver 03 Miata last August with just 17,000 miles, brought it
home and immediately put it on some stance ss coilovers, xxr 527's (16x8.25
et 0), magnaflow muffler, nrg quick release hub and steering wheel, bride
lowmax fixed back seats, boss frog harness bar and takata harnesses,
garage star 4" shift extender, flossy grip rod weighted shift knob, pioneer
avic d3, and a color matched hard top.

look forward to getting to know everyone and learning about my NB2, and
going to some get togethers/meets/shows with everyone

Welcome to the fold! First, let's see your ride, and second, you are among many who straddle the VW / Miata line. I started with 5 Siroccos. You should find that the Miata, is just as much fun to drive, plus more reliable.

Looks like you are starting with a nice, clean NB (PLUS HARDTOP)! You are moding like you've been there before. I really like the XXRs.

thanks, the xxr's were the obvious inexpensive wheel choice...plan on getting some nice 3pc wheels this fall/winter. ive learned the hard way with volkswagens...suspension/wheels first, i dont want to make the car unreliable. i'd like to do the kenne bell charger setup down the road for a little more go

of how short the time was that i owned them...
