Yes, finally, hard to make time with two kids bro! And I cannot clean a black car in the garage as well with artificial light vs the good old sun. Its already looking better with the 60 minutes or so I had to play with it. I think the last owner tried to use one of those engine cleaners and never washed all the soap off, that is what the white residue is on it. It comes right off with a wet rag and some elbow grease, there is not much oil to clean up which is great (and to be expected).

There shouldn't be a drop of oil anywhere. If there was, I would flip shit. Now about the kids... throw them a xbox and be a better parent. Ignore your kids, let media raise them, and focus on whats important in life. Miata.

Im on a TA-Technix coilover kit (may be even worse than Raceland) for my MOT (parts have to have a TUV-certificate to be legal here in Norway). Height set to the same as my Koni Race-setup so i can swap back after everything is checked OK! Would like to go lower but the roads here don't agree.

Marked, drilled, and installed some closed-end rivnuts to my trunk lid for my KGW spoiler. The outermost rivnuts were a challenge as there isn't as much space from the exterior to the interior wall of the trunk lid, but I just drilled through both and used some JB WaterWeld to seal up the backside of the rivnut and trunk once everything was in place.

I will try to get some tomorrow. I've got one concern that I still may need to work out though. The rivnuts follow the curve of the trunk lid, which is not quite the same as the flats on the back of the spoiler. I had planned to use some secure-hex button cap screws, but I may need to find something with a tapered head and use some finish washers, or else "shape" the plastic of the spoiler slightly with some heat. :/ We shall see...

Good news! The angle of the trunk lid did not cause any problems as the angle of the spoiler is close enough that it seats nicely. Now for some pics:

In hindsight, I wish I'd had all my mounting hardware before marking and drilling spoiler and trunk. I might have been able to get the bolts positioned more uniformly in the indentions. Then again, it might have only made matters worse, since it's hard to predict how much the spoiler will deflect as it's drawn in against the trunk when the bolts are tightened.

Installed the techno toy tuning battery tie down i got from Ken at GarageStar.

Note what the previous leaky unsealed battery can do. The surface rust has been sealed, i'll eventually clean it up and make it look better. Thanks Ken.
