I've heard of number of differing opinions on the topic, so I figured I'd throw it to the forum and see the response.
I'm having my stock flywheel (207k) resurfaced and it's going to mated to an oem spec exedy kit with a brand new pressure plate.
Do I need to worry about balancing either just the flywheel or the entire flywheel/pressure plate/clutch assembly?
The guy at the clutch shop said "It shouldn't be a problem with an engine THAT size.", but my internet searches have turned up horror stories about imbalanced assemblies after kit installs (not specific to this car with this kit). Internet sampling can be very biased toward sensationalism, though.
Should I forget my worries or find a place to do the balancing?
