If it was blue, I know a guy in San Fran that would buy it right now! Even though I think it's WAY overpriced. Even in silver it would sell rather quick, but in red? No way, Jose!
96 Montego, replacing a 95M... I miss: My running peeps in Tampa, running barefoot @ Clearwater Beach and First Choice BBQ, in Brandon. In So Cal I miss: The Malibu Canyons, CA 33 and In & Out Burgers ! I'm from Tampa, if I was from Tampa Bay, I'd be a fish!
pretty, but WAY to much, even for that condition
I think they skipped a decimal point there somewhere.
If it weren't for the fact that its red, it would only be slightly overpriced to me. In a "former life" I had a Fiero; When Pontiac went under, you should have seen some of the prices people were asking on those. (5,000 Fiero? $22,500. And they were GARBAGE cars.)
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

Some people are willing to pay the price.
Its high no doubt but if someone wants a pretty good condition miata with low miles then that one is a candidate.
Personally I think 8K is more realistic and even then thats high but its not as through the roof as the 11K asking price.
I have a friend who paid 6K for a 1991 Honda CRX Si.
It was a black Si, one owner, clean title with service records, garaged, only 65K on the clock.
People said he was nuts for paying that price but being a CRX fan/lover myself....I would pay that price since the thing was pretty damn near mint.
Right now he has RPF1 wheels on it with a load of suspension mods...rides like a gokart and its light as hell.
