Maybe I'll go out and take some pictures tomorrow. Need to show off the new hard top anyway.

The last weekend for photos is approaching!
I hope I make the calender! Everyone submit your photos!
Submitted my pic. Here's a smaller version that I edited (a bit of selective blur, desaturation, and vignetting), but I sent the original unedited version to Adam. If he likes it I'm sure he can tweak it better than I have.
I wanted to take some all new pics along the same theme (now with my lovely RevLimiter custom gauge faces!), but sadly I haven't been able to finish getting the interior of the car put back together yet.

I need to pick a photo now, hoping I got a good one today
...be back soon
submitted this, full res of course:
I've picked a bunch of winners. 22 of them! There will be 2 different calendars to pick from this year.
I'm emailing folks to clear up username/name choices now. Don't worry if you don't get an email. Many folks were very clear in telling me what name to put on the calendar.
YAY! =D
I will be submitting next year, and of course buying one of each calendar this year. Camber is still to new / my monies are still too few for this year's edition...
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

^ I chose a lot of mostly-stock cars. The state of modification wasn't the selling point to me, it was whether or not the photo was good. Good colors, nice framing, pretty setting >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> mods.
Got everything finalized. I should get my sample calendars ordered by tonight. Then I just have to wait for them to arrive so I can color correct and then share links with everyone.
Wish I knew a good photographer to take some pics for me. My little cheap point and shoot or phone camera suck.
Well, I was all set to feel good about myself and proudly post how I'd uploaded everything to cafepress last night (took nearly 2 hours thanks to their worthless website logging me out every 5 minutes), but life is never that easy. I got everything up, ordered the two test calendars, and then got an email a few minutes ago that some of my images "might violate copyright and have been removed."
UGH.
So... I'm assuming that I won't be able to get them back or use cafepress this year. I'm now looking at different options. Zazzle and lulu seem to have decent reviews. The redbubble calendar looks nice too, but is more expensive. And I could do a local printing and just mail these myself.
Whatever happens, I'll keep at it. I hope to have this squared away this week.
