    6 Months starting Sept.

But I've been in the courts every other day trying to reverse it. It's supposed to be really clear cut.

They suspended my license for "Fleeing the scene of an accident" When I stayed there, swapped information, and both parties (her and I) Agreed to settle privately and SHE left first.

She changed her mind, reported the accident without telling me... legal witchhunt ensued. Got booked, putt in military interrogation for 3 hours at 1am (no kidding) and had my leadership come in to bail me out.

The base policy states I have 72 hours to report a minor traffic incident. And they suspended it for "not reporting the incident at the scene and leaving". I have the regulation, gave it to the commander.. made a formal request and everything.
Then I get this fancy little answer back after waiting for a month and a half of security forces bureaucracy... literally.. word for word "Your request to re-instate your driving privileges has been declined. The AFI states you have 72 hours to report a minor traffic incident on base; does not mean you can take 72 hours to report it."

I've filled a complaint with the inspector General and this is going big league at this point. No way is that an appropriate answer for any legal issue. And the SFS commander dicked me, and a couple other drivers.

Taking advantage of SOF personnel.. this hasn't been going on for decades. Because we deploy more often than others, we get the shit end of the stick all the time. Especially on a regular WING base

I think we should raid this meet. It's where a lot of us already hang out on a near daily basis anyways. Who's with me? http://www.facebook.com/events/143437109132228/

    Re: SOCAL Rambling Thread

So i went to the Ohio bmv to inquire on the hoops to jump through so I can register the car. For out of starters coming in, they do an "inspection" where they verify make and model of the car that is on the existing registration/title. The model name is not on the California registration, so when asked, I responded with miata/mx5. I figured she wrote that down.

We go outside, she sees the car and as she's walking around to the back of it, I tell her there's nothing there that indicates model or make, as I have debadged the car and put my own logos on. She writes something down. Hands me my receipt, and says ok thank you.
I look at the receipt, and sure enough, she ignored what I said, and under make, wrote " Miata/Kinod."

I would have kept it, but since they needed it right for my registration, I had to have her fix it.
You'd think someone who works in the bureau of motor vehicles would have a bit more knowledge than that. At least it was good for a chuckle!

How is Ohio now that it's getting cold?

    JonB sucks at KINOD threads.

    Re: SOCAL Rambling Thread

Lol Rick! Ohio sucks. My top is up way too much, and I have yet to find roads worth the miata. I have a couple fun curves, but that's about it. Went to a local club meeting tonight. I'm gonna pick their minds next time for some roads in the area.
